About AMF Coatings
An owner-run cabinet painting and refinishing company serving Greater Montreal — six days a week.
Peinture. Finition. Qualité.
AMF Coatings was started by Carlos Andrés Martinez on a simple idea: most kitchens don't need to be torn out, they need a finish done properly. Show up when we say we will, take the prep seriously, spray a finish that looks like it came from the factory, and leave the kitchen cleaner than we found it.
Montreal kitchens teach you a lot. Plex cabinets painted over three times by three different owners. Solid oak that's still perfect under a yellowed clear coat. Melamine and thermofoil that need exactly the right primer or the paint will lift. Long, dry winters and humid summers that test every finish. We've learned what each surface needs, and it shows in cabinets that stay looking new.
Today we handle cabinet painting, kitchen cabinet refinishing, repainting and resurfacing, spray painting and spray finishing, colour changes, touch-ups and repairs, wood cabinet refinishing, and custom finishes — with Carlos on every job. We're open Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM, and every estimate is free.

Our Mission
Give Montreal homeowners a kitchen they love without the cost and disruption of a renovation, with a finish built to last. Treat every customer like a neighbour, and earn the next referral with the work itself.
Our Promise
If you're not happy with the work, tell us and we'll come back and make it right. No questions, no excuses. That's how we've built a customer list that runs almost entirely on referrals.
