Kitchen Cabinet Repainting

Fixing peeling, chipped or brush-marked paint jobs

Free EstimateGreater Montreal · Mon – Sat

A lot of the cabinets we repaint have already been painted once — usually with wall paint, no primer, and a brush. That finish peels at the edges, chips around the handles and never fully hardens. Repainting starts by taking the failed coating back: loose paint is removed, the surface is sanded until it's sound and smooth, and a bonding primer is applied so the new paint actually grips. Then we spray a proper cabinet enamel. The result looks and wears the way the first paint job should have.

Our Process

1

Test the Old Paint

We check how well the existing paint is bonded to decide how far back it needs to go.

2

Strip & Sand

Failing paint is removed and every surface is sanded smooth and sound.

3

Prime

A bonding primer seals the surface and gives the new enamel something to grip.

4

Repaint

Colour is sprayed in thin coats, cured, and the kitchen is put back together.
